Huskies Defeat Seton Hill in 7-0 Shutout

BLOOMSBURG- The Bloomsburg University women's soccer team defeated the Seton Hill Griffins with a 7-0 shutout on Thursday night.

Three Huskies scored two goals in the shutout; Kelly Modes (Langhorne, PA), Ashley Brucker (Blairstown, NJ), and Katie Walczuk (Long Valley, NJ). The last goal of the game was scored by junior Suzie Wade (Watsontown, PA). Jourdan Fedusenko (Newark, DE) had three assists on the night while Modes had one.

The Huskies controlled the game tempo only allowing the Griffins two shots, while the Huskies had 25 shots, 17 of which were shots on net.

With the win goalkeeper Frances Nicoletti (Haddonfield, NJ) earns her second shutout of the season.

Bloomsburg moves to 4-0-0 on the season and will play at Kutztown on Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
